Why start up UK Rookie? My mission is simple – grow the love of the NFL in the UK.

Like most other football fans in the UK, the complexity of the NFL rules tends to put people off. The times of the games can also be tough, with the Super Bowl usually deep into the early hours in the UK.

But most footy fans recognise the team logos, love the jerseys & caps etc. Getting that cross over into the NFL is my goal, to drive conversation with UK fans and get more NFL teams represented here in your local Tesco’s.

So join in the conversation on site and get involved. If you’re going to start anyway with NFL then start watching Red Zone at 6pm on a Sunday night and then pick a team! It’s so easy – once you’ve got a team, you’ve got the bug.

As the site grows I’ll try get guest writers and my ultimate aim is to grow a relationship with the NFL clubs to offer exclusive promotions to UK fans.
